In Loving Memory of Alan Chhi
Donation protected

As 2020 has already been a tough year for all of us, Alan has had to endure additional challenges of loss within our family.
In January 2020, Alan’s mother, Kandi, fell into a coma. During this time, it was difficult for him to visit her in the hospital due to the pandemic. Kandi was brought home on hospice care in August 2020, allowing her to pass peacefully around her loved ones. A few days later, Alan’s maternal grandmother passed in her sleep after battling cancer for two years.
Losing the two women who raised him was devastating for Alan. His struggle to cope emotionally and mentally was a silent, uphill battle. His soul is finally at rest with his mother and grandmother.
Although our beloved Alan has been battling mental illness for some time, he found ways to touch so many of our hearts. With every passing day, we learn new things about Alan through all your kind words and support. This has helped us keep Alan’s laughter and spirit alive, so we hope to continue to hear from you.
Any donations to assist Alan’s family during this devastating time is kindly welcomed and immensely appreciated. All proceeds will go directly to the Chhi family (Alan’s father Ken, sister Rachel, and brother Andy).
