It is with an overwhelming feeling of grief that I turn to family, friends and strangers as my family is faced with the reality of a losing a much beloved mother and grandmother. My beloved mother Debra Lafurge was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer and will be taken off of life support in a few short days. As this was unexpected my family is faced with the financial burden and we are not financially prepared for the cost of A funeral.

Anyone who knows my mother knows that she was always willing to help the next person, whether it was someone who needed a place to stay or a meal to eat they were always welcomed into her home. After a lifetime of giving there is no one more deserving.

It is with the utmost humbleness that I ask for donations to help pay for the cost of the funeral. Based on a simple goal to provide her with a funeral, I'd like to raise enough money for her remembrance. The funds will be needed as soon as possible.

Whether it is a donation, sharing a memory, saying a prayer or even just thinking of us it will mean the world to me and my entire family.
