I find myself in a position I never imagined I’d be in. As most of you know, I’ve been battling cancer for some time now. At the beginning of my journey, I was hopeful and believed that we'd be able to handle the expenses that come with this disease. But as I’ve progressed, I’ve learned that cancer doesn’t just take a toll on your health; it also brings along overwhelming financial burdens.

The Journey So Far:

I’ve had to undergo three major surgeries before even starting chemotherapy, each with significant costs attached to them.

Chemotherapy and related treatments come with their own set of financial strains, and while I am fortunate enough to have decent insurance, there are still a lot of expenses that are not covered, especially when it comes to alternative treatments.

For me, combining Eastern and Western medicine has been essential in managing the side effects of my treatments and helping my body stay strong throughout this journey.

Unfortunately, much of this holistic care isn't covered by insurance, and these treatments are just as vital to my recovery as the traditional approaches.

Looking Ahead:

Even after the cancer is gone, the financial impact will continue. There will always be follow-up care, checkups, and the ongoing costs of maintaining my health. Cancer doesn’t just leave you when the treatment ends; the journey continues, both physically and financially, for the rest of my life.

Why I’m Asking For Help:

With so many unforeseen expenses piling up, I’m humbly asking for help. I know that many of you have been supportive already, and for that, I’m beyond grateful. But as I look toward the future and the ongoing costs that will accompany my healing, I find myself in need of a little extra support from my amazing network of family and friends.
