My name is Ally J Ward. I’m a trans woman in Portland, Oregon and I am wanting to further improve my education background by adding a certification to become a licensed sex counselor, educator and coach! I have always enjoyed helping people and as I have grown more compostable in my identity as a trans and queer woman, I’m hoping my representation in this field will help others feel safe, comfortable, and excited to explore their sexuality!

I’m currently unemployed, and don’t have much family support, so I unfortunately don’t have enough to cover the up front tuition cost for this program, of which doesn’t qualify either for student loans. I am seeking help covering the $15,000 tuition so I can enter and start my journey towards this certification!

What’s great about this program, the Sexual Health Alliance, is I can do it all remotely, at my own pace, and comes with the supervised hours necessary to become dual certified with AASECT as well! I am also able to help on a focus in kink, which I’m very excited about as I want to help others combat shame they may feel towards their desires and how that ties with our identities!

I’m also a comedian in Portland where I co-produce a kink education comedy called Giggle Bottom, this degree will only enhance the quality of our product, but also branch us out to make these even more fun, informative, and opportunities to branch us out to conferences and other events!
