Poppy's recovery
Donation protected
Some of you might know of Poppy, my 16 year old sassy little lady. For those who don't, she is a FIV positive rescue that have already had a few health scares in the 3 years since I got her, but every time she has beaten the odds and pulled through, and is just the strongest little cat I have ever known.
This week she scared me again when she suddenly started vomiting, and then going off her food for days in a row. She has had to get extensive blood tests and stay at the emergency vet over night where they gave her fluids as she was really dehydrated. She will be continuing fluids today and the hope is that she will recover enough to get her appetite back and regain her strength.
I really hate asking for help, but I have to do everything I can for my little lady. I know times are hard financially for all, but any contribution - big or small - will make a huge difference in giving Poppy the best odds to yet again pull through and prove that cats really do have 9 lives!
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this with others that might be able to help. I am so grateful for your support, and every little bit counts. Thank you for being a part of Poppy's journey to get back to her usual sassiest self!
With love and gratitude,
