Jessie's Justice

In April, 2022 Jessie’s world was shattered. At the age of 38 Jessie was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. It is terminal.

Almost a year earlier at the end of May 2021, Jessie had discovered a painful and tender lump in her breast. She went to her family doctor and he noted there was no family history of cancer. Her family doctor ordered an ultrasound. The ultrasound report stated the lump could be a cyst; it was not identified as potentially malignant. A mammogram was not performed.

At a family event, Easter weekend 2022, debilitating back pain prevented her from standing. She sought emergency treatment at the ER. Breast cancer was discovered and had metastasized in her bones.

In May 2022, she had emergency surgery on her spine to prevent paralysis. Over time, she had surgery, as well as radiation, intravenous chemotherapy and chemotherapy pills.

Jessie has launched a malpractice lawsuit against the medical professionals that are alleged to have failed to diagnosis her cancer in June of 2021 when curative treatment may have been available. 

After no longer being able to work Jessie’s income decreased by 40% making legal disbursements unbearable for her and her family. Jessie is a loving wife and mother to Eli (14) and Colton (11) and wants justice for her and her boys.

More cancer has been discovered and further medical intervention is ongoing. Jessie remains courageous and brave throughout this ordeal.
