This year N.Finite Hands charity launches its second annual holiday fundraiser. Last year’s fundraiser was such a huge success, raising over $3000 in donations. Through hard work and commitment, and a common goal in mind we were able to provide over 500 hundred people, 150 families with meals just in time for the Christmas holiday season. The response we received was amazing and the families we were able to help were so grateful.

On the day of the holiday fundraiser last year, we started by focusing on those that are homeless first. We found several bridges in Chicago where they resided in tents in the freezing cold. We gave each of them gift cards that they could use at local restaurants nearby. Each of them had such amazing stories, but one in particular stuck out to me the most. A man talked about how life did not always used to be this way for him. He had a steady corporate job and was doing very well for himself. Then a series of events happened in his life that led to a downturn of events, which ultimately left him homeless.

In listening to this man’s life story, I realized that this could have easily been me. This life is so unpredictable, but by the grace of God I am still here today. I proceeded to pray for this man and encouraged him.

This helped the N.finite Hands team realize what a difference we were making and we came together outlining goals for this year. I believe that we were placed on this Earth to be givers and serve others. We want to be able to reach even more families this year, which means that we need to raise more.

We accomplished so much last year because of each one of your contributions. We are asking the same this year so we can provide to even more people in need.
