Help Kayla Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

My name is Jessica Turner I live in Palm Harbor, Fl I am starting this GoFundMe for my friend Kalya Miller and her children who is in Urgent Need. Kalya and her children have lost everything due to Hurricane Helene. I am hoping as a local business owner that this will give you some peace in donating.

I’m reaching out to share Kayla’s inspiring yet heartbreaking story. Kayla lives in Port Richey, Fl is and is devoted Single mother of 4 amazing children. She is a caring daughter, sister, and friend. Kayla is a Director of Nursing at a nursing home in Palm Harbor, where she ensures her residents and staff feel safe and cared for.

Recently, she was critically injured when a tree fell on her, but thanks to her 13-year-old son’s quick action in performing CPR, she survived. After a life-saving craniotomy, Kayla is now recovering in the hospital and showing incredible strength.

Despite this progress, her journey is far from over. She was devastated to learn that she now has no home to go back to. Hurricane Helene has caused catastrophic damage to her home. She will need to completely redo the electrical, the drywall, and will need to replace everything she owns. Her children, ages 13, 15, 10, and 8, have also lost everything.
