First the good news: no one was hurt in the fire that caused a total loss of Dana and Ray's family house.

We are so grateful the boys were with grandma and grandpa, who were able to spot the smoke and call 911, and that Dana and Ray were at the vet with Salem, so no humans or animals were at risk at any time.

We are also grateful to the friends and family who have already reached out about how to help going forward, and we have set up this GoFundMe to help support some immediate needs as we rebuild--replacing clothes, shoes and other essentials to get us through the winter and on to what we hope are brighter and sunnier days.
