Hello everybody, My name is Consuelo and I am asking you all for help. On May 8th my little cousin Eddie who just celebrated his 14th birthday was rushed to the hospital in state of emergency. In a matter of seconds, what we all knew as a young, athletic, healthy, energetic boy, turned into a mothers worst nightmare. He has been diagnosed with a brain tumor that is causing swelling and putting pressure on parts of the brain which is affecting both motor and sensory nerves. The diagnosis has also brought other complications. He is scheduled for brain surgery early next week, (Week of 5/15/23). Eddie is a humble, honest human being who has become a beacon of inspiration to his younger brother, parents, and those around him. In all this positive aura, Eddie is a child who needs his parents now more than ever. As their world is turned upside down, financial responsibilities don’t stop. I know the world we live in today is not easy but anything will truly be appreciated to help alleviate some of the financial stress so Eddie’s parents can focus on being there with him every step of the way to his recovery.
