Many of you already know that Inez (Nezzy) continues to struggle with debilitating endometriosis. Her hysterectomy in May 2024, made possible thanks to your incredible generosity, did provide some temporary relief and successfully addressed her adenomyosis. Unfortunately, the endometriosis remains, and the resulting chronic pain has become so severe that Nez is now house‑bound and unable to work.

Her medical team has recommended a specialised surgical procedure costing $12,000. This is currently Nezzy’s best hope for regaining her quality of life and returning to the things she loves most: teaching, socialising, and spending time at the beach. Due to long public wait times and the lack of access to specialists with the required expertise and knowledge of Nez's complex anatomy, accessing this surgery through the public system isn’t possible. Her private O&G specialist is now her only viable path forward.
