Dag Wereld,

Hi World,

My name is Ryuu van Erve. After having represented The Netherlands at the Baseball5 European Championships U17 in Bulgaria in 2022, I have now been selected for two big international tournaments for the year 2023. For Future Stars Tremus I will be part of a team U16 representing the Netherlands during the Perfect Game tournament in BRNO, Czech Republic, from the 30th of April to the 5th of May and in July, from the 19th to the 25th, I will be part of the Babe Ruth Netherlands selection during the Babe Ruth Caribbean Championships in Nassau, Bahamas.

These two tournaments will give me a great baseball and learning experience, they are chances to grow and to develop as a baller. As we will face experienced teams from the Caribbeans but also from China and the USA, participating might get me closer to the fulfillment of my dream of eventually playing in the USA. Especially since there will be scouts from American Universities and the MLB checking out the players at these tournaments.

As you probably understand there are travel, training and other costs involved. Participation to the Babe Ruth Caribbean Championships costs €1700 (travel, trainings and accommodation included), and for the Perfect Game tournament the expenses total 550€. We are trying to cover all costs by ourselves, but if you would like to help me achieving my dream or just support me in having such great baseball and learning experiences, you can do so by chipping in with a donation. Thank you!

Salve a tutti,

Grazie!
