Arlene's Medical Help

Arlene is a friend and co-worker who is currently in a major health crisis. She is not financially well off and while her health has been declining she has been unable to work. This is financially devestating to both her and her husband. Any little thing anyone can do to help will be beyond appreciated!

Here is some detailed information in Arlene's own words:

To all of you who have been asking and wondering. It is day 8 of being here today. Its been a real horrible time and who'd of ever thought one day you're fine the next day your being told by a surgeon with tears in his eyes that you are being rushed into surgery for a life or death infection and chances are I may not make it but he will do his best. He said a prayer and then from what I understand before and after that, it was just like tv...stat..room 1 stat...rodney had trouble keeping up with the surgeons running to the or. He said they were fast ttrack and ready. One day you are fine, then a pimple pops backwards, and turns into something that is a flesh eating infection you can not get out of w/o surgery. I was so close to death it has never been closer. I now truly know who my real friends and family are and those are the ones who care and took the time to find out if I was going to live or not. I may go for more surgery today, 3rd time in this 8 days. I am still going to be here could be a month or more, then off to rehab and who knows what is going to be thrown my way after. I am petrified, the pain is something I dont wish my worst enemy..but to all my LO family, you truly have shown me what it means to care about someone. I felet the love the prayers and friendshiip, I hope to be out of here soon but not sure what soon is anymore. I know that life is so much more then what I gave credit to.
