In 2016 our son Jacen was struck by a vehicle and sustained life threatening injuries at just 1 year old. He sustained an incomplete spinal cord injury which left him paralyzed and unable to walk. Jacen has been attending therapy at CORE (Center Of Recovery and Exercise) in Altamonte Springs since 2017. He is now a happy and healthy fifth grader. Although he is still paralyzed, he has greatly improved since his accident and continues to recover and gain more independence through his hard work at CORE. This year we are fundraising to be able to get some therapy equipment for Jacen to be able to use at home in addition to his weekly therapy at CORE.
