A year and a half ago, I made a decision that changed my life. For most of my life, I struggled with my weight. It affected my health, my confidence, and how I experienced everyday life. After years of trying different things, I finally committed to making a real, lasting change. Through consistent calorie tracking, discipline, and lifestyle changes, I’ve worked incredibly hard and have lost 140 pounds. This journey has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life. It has taken dedication, patience, and a lot of mental strength. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received along the way.

However, after losing a significant amount of weight, I’m now facing another challenge: excess skin left behind from the weight loss. While the weight is gone, the extra skin causes physical discomfort and makes it difficult to fully feel the results of all the hard work I’ve put into transforming my health. The next step in my journey is skin removal surgery, which will help me move forward both physically and emotionally. Unfortunately, these procedures are very expensive, and in most cases insurance does not cover them. Between the surgery itself and recovery expenses, the costs add up quickly. Because of this, I’m reaching out to my community for help.
