Most of you know about my adventures with flying and golf, but what you probably don’t know is that during CoViD my wife and I lost our jobs on the same day just over a year ago. I know a lot of you have been affected as well. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to find new employment, but it requires traveling to and living in another state every other week. I know how lucky I am to have been able to take this position, but because of my wife’s autoimmune issues, I want to position myself professionally so that I can be with her more often and grow my career at the same time. Not to mention, I miss my pups. I’ve made great strides in getting my multi engine commercial fixed wing license, but I’ve still got a few major steps left. It will cost about $12k total and I didn’t want to set my goal too high. Although, I know I’ll be taking a huge pay cut my first year. I know many of you are struggling and I don’t want anyone to overextend themselves, so any support that you’re comfortable is welcomed. If you’re unable to donate, please share. With that said, once I complete my requirements and am hired as a commercial airline pilot ✈️ (Hopefully Delta...setting goals ), I will give you your money back once you fly with me and, drinks on your flight with me will be my treat!
I have decided to set my fundraising goal at $5,500.00 (which is exactly half of what I need) – no donation is too small (it only takes 20 $5 dollar bills to make a $100, with my 1000+ friends on Facebook, we’ve got this covered. Let’s do this!
