My name is Michael Rebholz.   I have been a high school teacher for 8 years but more important to me is my work with New Beginnings Ministry, a homelessness and poverty mission which works with St. Vincent De Paul out of the Archdiocese of Atlanta.  I am here on behalf of Amanda Feltman.  Amanda is a devoted mother of 4 who needs a hand up.  Amanda currently works 50 hours a week at a fast food restaurant but her and her daughters have recently lost their living arrangement and with no car are at the mercy of the elements.  COVID-19 has seriously hampered my ministry's ability to give Amanda the fresh start she needs.  We have put her and her kids in a hotel through next Wednesday and have paid her storage unit bill so that their belongings are not auctioned off.  W I have set a goal of $5,000 so that we could hopefully get her a used car and using the Georgia Housing Voucher Program get a down payment on a home.  We all fall short of the Glory of God and we all deserve another chance.   Christ commanded us to Love God with all our soul and our neighbor with all our heart and mind.  If you're not a follower of Christ follow your own heart and Golden Rule, and help me get this family up from clawing at the edge of the hole they're in and on solid ground.
