Newton’s Karate -Forever Dojo- parking lot help

My name is Jimmy Newton and I own and teach at Newton’s karate and have since 2006. We bought the land and got a construction loan to build a dojo we will own.

It was a risky decision but I tied it home to the loan to be able to get the amount needed to build. However with rising building and construction costs we are over budget and short on what it will cost to pave the parking lot, which the city requires. Our new school will be nearly 5,000 square feet and feature a lobby for parents, a strength and conditioning area, brand new mats and equipment with beautiful outdoor landscaping. The parking lot is the last thing holding us up from finishing. Between the current lease and paying the new loan, this last hurdle has proved challenging and we need your help. We have most of what’s needed to finish but are still short the entire amount. Our school is home to several dedicated students from ages 5 to 60+ and all are extremely passionate about learning, helping each other and consistently striving for improvement. It is a place where people from all backgrounds come together to improve their lives through martial arts. Whether you train for self protection, fitness, competing or for your one mental well being, we have something for all skill levels and ages.

I want to continue to serve our community by offering the very best martial arts instruction in a top of the line facility. We have come extremely far this past year and if we can get this parking lot resolved we can continue to move forward.

All donations of 100.00 will receive their name included on a commemorative plaque to be hung in the lobby. Any amount will help though.
