The Newton Nomadic Theater has been on the go for nearly six years. It has presented approximately 200 nights of entertainment - 15 plays, 20+ Story Slams, and a film premier.
We present the highest quality theater at reasonable prices for local audiences.
We are not an institution, an organization, or a non-profit. We are a dedicated group of volunteers who self-finance each theatrical production.
Our latest, absolutely stunning production of No Exit ran for two weeks, and got rave reviews. Due to the Covid-19 situation we were forced to shut down the final three weeks of the run for the sake of our audience, our cast, and crews health and safety.
This has left an approximately $5000 hole in our pockets, the largest share of which would have gone to the actors and the rest to recoup the theater's sunk costs.
