My name is Newton Moraes i am the founder, artistic director and choreographer of Newton Moraes Dance Theatre which has toured in Canada, USA, Cuba, Germany, Colombia and Brazil. Newton Moraes Dance Theatre will be celebrating 25th Anniversary on May 22, 2022. NMDT are going to present the 25th anniversary on November 23rd to 26th, 2022 at the Fleck Dance Theatre at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto.  “LIFE UNDER MY SKIN” a new choreography to celebrate this milestone. This work was supposed to be created early but with COVID 19 we had to postponed. Our company received support from Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council for the arts as well we hope to raise $ 25,000 Canadian dollars to help with the expenses with dancers, costume, set, props, lighting designer fee, theatre costs as well as video and live stream performance by Barbara Willis Sweete.
