"NEWT" A Short Film

"NEWT," produced by Becca Messner and directed by Benjamin Focht is a narrative short film about a lonely man in a big city that must balance a strange flood of emotions after seeing a clone of himself in the flesh.
We are film students at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and "NEWT" is our junior film project. The film will be roughly 10 minutes in length and shot in Troy, Michigan & Detroit, Michigan in March of 2021.
As of now, "NEWT" is funded independently by the students. Because of this, the budget is very limited. In order for the final project to live up to it's full potential, obtaining proper funding is vital.
All financial contributions to "NEWT" will be used for production costs; wardrobe, craft services, props, transportation and equipment rentals.
