I've always had the mentality of making due with what I've got, but there comes a point where you have to throw that out in the name of progress.
Recently, my PC that I use to do my job decided to kick the bucket, and while I was able to reinstall Windows and get it running, it's clear that it's on its last leg.
Constant freezing, taking eons to open links, and lots of crashes are just a few of the things that this Frankenstein's monster of a computer is now ailed with.
At the recommendation of Duncan, better known as DuncanKneeDeep, I'm making this GoFundMe to ask for your help in building a PC that can actually perform the tasks I need it to do.
Duncan is much more in-tune with computers than I am, and he's graciously helped me pick the parts I'll need for a computer that can do the things I need it to do, without spending needlessly. In his words: "You're getting the most out of every dollar you're spending."
You can look at the parts list here:
Every little bit is appreciated, and you can be sure that every dollar will be well worth it.
Even if you're unable to give, simply sharing this will be just as helpful.
If/When we hit our goal and all the parts come in, I'll livestream the building of the PC with the help of Duncan, since again, I'm all but computer illiterate. (This is assuming my PC still functions at that point. Let's hope my little laptop can handle it!)
Thank you so much for any consideration, and if I can figure out this dang website, I'll try to include pictures of my current specs so you can see what I'm working with. The campaign photo should be a picture of my front panel, which is held on by tape.
