This darling ten year-old Chihuahua came to me as a foster because the owner -- who inherited her from his elderly mother who died – was not able to give her the veterinary care and attention she needed in his household with six kids.
Naturally I decided to keep her and give her a forever home.
My own dog had died just a few weeks earlier, and this little girl has been quite the healer for my grieving heart. I named her RUAH, an ancient Aramaic word that means “spirit” or “breath,” which is often used in mystic meditation to bring a sense of calm and peace.
We had our first vet visit today, and as I expected, she needs about $2500 in dental work. I’ve already spent quite a bit on her lab work, vaccinations, medications, etc., but the dental bill is going to be huge, and I could use some help.
I would be happy to send you a copy of the dental estimate if you email me to request it (I can't attach a PDF here). I tried to set it up so the funds could go directly to the vet, but they weren't able to do that. Feel free to call them if you'd like to verify that this is legit -- Animal Care Group in Lake Oswego Oregon . I've also attached the dental estimate here.
