Newhouse Wildlife Rehab Expansion Fund
As most of us know, Chelmsford is so fortunate to have a jewel of a person and organization in our community. Newhouse Wildlife Rescue has rehabilitated hundreds of local wildlife who wouldn’t have survived if not for the love and care of its founder, Martha Jane Newhouse. Newhouse has grown tremendously in the numbers of animals they have rehabilitated, and stolen the hearts from all of us. Many from the community who have skills to donate have lent a hand by building out their garage clinic and installing a semiaquatic pool for our water loving fur babies.
Newhouse is currently hitting capacity and regularly does so, which means it’s time for more growth! We would like to help by raising the funds needed to:
Remodel more of the garage and make it usable space;
Add another large outdoor enclosure;
Get the fencing up around the semi aquatic enclosure.
In addition, Martha and another Chelmsford rehabber, Jess, are building large enclosures in Jess’s basement for some animals that will need to stay over winter.
Would you be willing to help by giving a donation? Every dollar will help.
Thank you!
