Hurricane Irma Put Newhards Aground

Hurricane Irma threw ‘Flying Circus’ ashore on the island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. Cap’t Neil & his son Enzo have not only lost their home but all of their belongings. Neil Newhard is a well-known Caribbean resident as well as a three-time Rolex Regatta Champion. Enzo is currently a Sophomore at the University of Miami where he is triple majoring in Marine Biology, Biology, and Environmental Science and is an active racer on the UM Sailing Team.

Enzo’s friends and fellow sailors have started this drive to help him and his father rebuild their lives.  While we cannot bring back their Columbia 50, we can help replace their home. Every gift is truly appreciated. Enzo is currently down on the island fending for himself in a temporary shelter.
