At Newent Early Years, we work hard every single day to give our children the safest, happiest and most nurturing start in life. Our rooms are full of curiosity, play, learning and love — but as temperatures rise each year, our building simply can’t keep up.

We are launching this GoFundMe to raise money for air‑conditioning units for all three of our nursery rooms. This isn’t a luxury for us; it’s becoming a necessity for the wellbeing of our babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

Why We Need Your Help..

Early years settings across the UK are facing some of the lowest funding rates in the education sector, and like many nurseries, we are constantly stretching every penny to cover essentials — staffing, resources, food, safety equipment, training and rising operational costs.

Unfortunately, this means that large one‑off purchases, like air‑conditioning units, are simply out of reach without community support.

What Your Donation Will Do..

• Install air‑conditioning in all three rooms, ensuring children can learn, rest and play comfortably

• Create a safer environment during heatwaves, which are becoming more frequent

• Support our staff, who work tirelessly in warm conditions to give children the best care
