BJ and Sara Louise Newcomer have been a light to so many. This couple can only be described as miraculous. Their impact in changing this world and the veterinary profession is felt through not only numerous classes of vet students but also multiple institutions. Their faith in God and love for others is insurmountable.
Tragedy struck them on March 20 when the couple was involved in a horrific car accident while on the way to celebrate Sara Louise’s birthday. Both suffered severe injuries that left them hospitalized in the North Amarillo Hospital ICU.
This wonderful couple now needs our support and help while they begin to recover. It’s is going to be a long, difficult recovery for them as they work to return to good health. Thank you to all those who stepped up to take care of the Newcomers, their beloved lab Willow Kate, and their families.
