Newcastle West & District Pipe Band Flag Day

Established in 1961, Newcastle West & District Pipe Band has been a mainstay for pipe band music and culture in the southwest of Ireland since its inception.

Throughout the years the band has played host to hundreds of musicians and has provided a communal space in both music and friendship.

This fund is being set up to continue and further this tradition in our community. With your help the band will be able to provide instruments and mentoring for new learners and eventually uniforms so that they may perform and compete with the band in the future.

Here in Newcastle West & District Pipe Band we have great hopes for both national and international engagement. Over the last number of years we have kept our band on the road, playing and competing nationally. With your help we can expand on this.
