Newborn Reagan Elmer hospital bills

This past 48 hours have seemed like I am living in someone else’s life. Not our perfect beautiful healthy baby! Saturday around noon, we noticed that Reagan’s lips were turning blue while she nursed, with the help of her cousin Elliot’s owlet pulsox monitor, we discovered that her oxygen levels were dropping dangerously low. We loaded up and went straight to Peoria! As soon as they saw what was happening in the ER, they rushed us back and very shortly after, we were admitted ...to the PICU at OSF Children’s Hospital. After having multiple episodes where she would just stop breathing, she is now fully intubated with a breathing tube and feeding tube while they run more tests and scans! The first test that came back positive is for a respiratory virus, that to an adult could be nothing, but to a baby is life threatening. We still don’t have a timeline on how long we will be here, and we are still waiting on results from a few tests and scans they have done. Right now it’s just waiting for her body to fight off this virus, which we know she will do! Please keep our family in your prayers, for rest and healing for our girl, and for strength for Ryan and I!
