Mom lost her battle W-COVID-19 after giving birth

Maria Plancarte lost her battle to COVID-19 Pneumonia. Maria was 6 months pregnant when she was admitted to Kaweah Hospital with low oxygen levels. She gave birth via emergency C-Section at 27 weeks. The baby was born weighing 2 lbs., 7 ounces. Thankfully, she is doing fine in the NICU. After battling Covid-19 for 4 weeks and being medically induced coma, Maria’s body could no longer fight. Sadly, she passed away on November 29, 2021. Maria was the center of the family; she was the glue that always kept everyone together. We are still struggling to process that she won’t be coming home. She has left behind her children her husband and her loving mother.

This GoFundMe has been set up to help relieve some of the financial stresses that Alejandro and the family are facing now with funeral cost and any medical expenses that may be coming. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

Maria Plancarte perdió su batalla por la neumonía COVID-19. María estaba embarazada de 6 meses cuando ingresó en el Hospital Kaweah con niveles bajos de oxígeno. Dio a luz por cesárea de emergencia a las 27 semanas. El bebé nació con un peso de 2 libras y 9 onzas. Afortunadamente, ella está bien en la NICU. Después de luchar contra Covid-19 durante 4 semanas y estar en coma inducido médicamente, el cuerpo de María ya no podía luchar. Lamentablemente, falleció el 29 de noviembre de 2021. María era el centro de la familia; ella era el pegamento que siempre mantenía a todos juntos. Todavía estamos luchando para procesar que ella no volverá a casa. Ha dejado atrás a sus hijos, su esposo y su amada madre.
