Newberry Event Music Festival to Defeat Multiple Sclerosis

The Newberry Event Music Festival was established in 2013 as a summer weekend good time for a good cause. It has earned a good reputation as a family-friendly event, awarded the "Hidden Gem Festival" award from the Oregon Festival and Events Association. Multi-genre musicians and bands perform all days in a beautiful rural setting. The lawns, shady aspens and pines create an unforgettable outdoor venue in South Deschutes County.

Multiple Sclerosis is a neurologic and auto-immune disease that keeps people from moving. It can strike at any age causing varying degrees of damage. In some cases, MS leads to partial or complete paralysis. Come rock out and dance for those who can’t. Festival proceeds benefit the Oregon Chapter Natl. Multiple Sclerosis Society who works with the OHSU MS Research Center. Please help raise awareness and research funds to find the cause and hope to develop a cure.

We, Doug and Gloria Watt, started the festival to be proactive as we have struggled with Gloria's MS and declining mobility for over 40 years. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to us.

Please join the Newberry festival family and make a difference for people affected by multiple sclerosis. There will be interesting and varied items for sale at the merch / auction table, and other fundraising games. With no tickets sold, the festival runs on donations and sales. There's great food and beverages. Tent camp, or RV sites are available. Donations gratefully accepted.
