Hi, my name is Annette Pino and I am the proud President of the PTO organization at the Newark School of Global Studies, located in Newark, NJ. The Newark School of Global Studies is a four-year public magnet high school that provides students with an immersive academic experience to prepare them to be innovative thinkers in a competitive, global 21st-century society.

The goal of this fundraiser is to help offset the costs involved for our students to partake in the travel-abroad senior seminar component, completing their full global high school experience. The Newark School of Global Studies is a place where a diverse student body converges in a school with no borders. The curriculum fosters fluency in a second language, immersion in a foreign culture, and the exchange of ideas via advanced technology. Students are engaged in a meaningful way in the sphere of international relations as they tackle the great global issues of our time within an academic framework. Our two internal academies focusing on Diplomacy and Global Business will facilitate the application of a global studies education to lifelong career choices.
