Our New York Portuguese-American Community stands strong together to support our families in need. During this unprecedented time, we anticipate that the need of our community will be great but we firmly believe that the support of our members will be greater.

The purpose of this 'New York Portuguese Community Emergency COVID-19 Deceased Benefit Fund' benefit is to help cover the costs of any funeral expenses for families in our community in need who lost loved ones due to the novel coronavirus and are experiencing financial hardship during these unsettling times.

While we may now be far apart, we are so grateful for the immense sense of community and togetherness that we all can rely on.
