Hi my names Andy and on 2nd November I will be running the New York Marathon. I’ve previously competed at London, Berlin, Manchester, Valencia and Chicago Marathons, along the way raising over £6000 for various charity’s.

This year I’d like to do something a little different, they say charity begins at home, and my son Bradley’s football team, BJFF Blades U10’s are in need of funds to make sure they can see this season through to the end, and hopefully for many more years to come.

There a great bunch of kids, and the coaches and parents do everything they can to provide a safe and fun environment for them to enjoy the game.

Kids football is an expensive business, and the boys parents already pay a substantial amount of money for them to be able to play, and I would like to use the New York Marathon as a way to raise funds for the team and ease this burden.

On going costs include, but are not limited to:

Team Kit

Pitch Hire

Training Equipment

Tournament Entries

End of Season awards and venue hire

Referee and Match Fees

Player Registrations

Christmas Party

Non of this comes cheap, and the players monthly fees do not cover these expenses alone, fundraising is absolutely vital.
