New York Conservatory For Dramatic Arts

Hi, my name is Samantha and I’m fundraising to become an actress in the industry, in which I have been studying and actively perusing for 9 years. This is something that I’ve been working really hard towards, and will continue to reach for my dreams! I have been given the opportunity to continue my journey to be a on camera film actress for tv and film with the prestigious New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and Film for the Summer intensive program for 4 weeks in Manhattan, New York. The conservatory will bypass accreditation requirements needed for On-Camera tv and film to start working in the industry.

Over the last nine years I have fully supported my dreams in this industry from taking classes at Everett community college, acting workshops, and private acting coaching. From that point, I auditioned with Seattle Talent Agency, and given the opportunity to represent them as a Talented actress in the Seattle area. IMTA (international models Talent association) scouters, scouted me from LA through the agency to go to Florida for their convention, to audition and be in front of thousands of casting directors, producers, and industry professionals to showcase my talent through competitions, open castings, workshops, and private auditions. I got a call back from The New York of Conservatory for Dramatic Arts after doing the monologue competition at the convention for my own monologue I wrote. I was asked me to do a private audition based in Seattle, and I was ACCEPTED the audition with a 1000$ scholarship to attend the 4 week summer intensive program for Tv and Film in June 2022 - end of July 2022. I’ll be in New York for about 2 months. 

The reason why I am starting a Go fund me is due to these difficult economic times, living on my own, and working as much as I can, while paying rent and other personal living expenses. This has put me in the position to where I may not be able to fully fund my dreams on my own. It’s been hard to try and come up with the means to fully support myself while living down there, traveling funds, and paying for The Conservatory housing, and Admissions. This is something out of the ordinary for me to ask, because I’ve always done it myself. I just need a little help along the way to really make this dream happen. I’m struggling to ask but every dollar that is raised towards this will be used no matter the amount to fully fund all asks backs of this trip I’m about to embark on.
