On New Year's Eve, we'll be braving the icy waters of the Irish Sea to raise money in aid of Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Ireland and every donation will help.
Sickle cell disease causes red blood cells to form in fragile, sickle shapes which can then form clots anywhere in the body. It is an extremely debilitating disease, capable of causing pain that sufferers have compared to childbirth, or even being shot.
Sickle Cell and Thalassemia Ireland perform vital work raising awareness about this disease, which is essential for creating change in our healthcare system to better care for people suffering from it.
Thank you so much in advance for any donation, every little bit makes a huge difference.
