New Years Eve Fire - Weis Family Home
Donation protected
Please help the Weis family, from Boyton Beach Florida after an accidental fire destroyed their home on New Years Eve!
The family was enjoying a quiet New Years together, with their 3 sons, the two oldest who are visiting from college, when the fire started upstairs.
They heard a crackling noise, and as Lili (mom) stepped out of shower the whole second floor of their home was in flames. Kris (dad) ran up and tried to extinguish the fire, his hair caught on fire and he was not able to battle the growing flames, emergency crews arrived. They were all left outside, with no shoes and devastated watching the only family home they have ever known destroyed.
Through it all the Weis family is resistant, they are grateful to be OK, even Luna their newly adopted puppy made it out.
The house however is destroyed. The Red Cross can only assist for a few days, and insurance claims can take long.
We (the family raising the funds, Sisters, Brother, Parents) are rallying together to do what we can, but more help is needed. Not only for temporary/new living situation, but personal care items as well such as shoes, clothes, ect... all lost.
Lillian is a loving teacher, who works with at-risk children teaching 5th grade. She has a big heart and is always there whenever you need her with a loving embrace and positive words.
Kris, works at an advertising firm for over 10 years where he is very loved. They have dedicated their life to raising 3 amazing young-men and their education being a top priority. Two currently in college and one getting ready to start this year, 2020.
Their salaries are simply not enough to cover this tragedy. The money collected will be used to provided temporary living while their home is salvaged. New home is not an option, so home must be repaired and the construction process will be lengthy and costly.
Anything will help give to give our family a fresh start!
