December 31st is a day to celebrate the completion of the past year and the arrival of a new one. For our family it was a nightmare come to life. At 8:05pm our house in Fremont, CA caught on fire destroying most of our belongings and possessions.  Our 11 year old Labrador dog was inside at the time and fainted due to the intense heat and excessive carbon dioxide inhalation. Firefighters were able to carry him out after tripping on him and he is currently under intense oxygen flow in hopes of recovery. The rest of the family is physically safe but emotionally scarred as 20 years of memories was burned to ashes
