As our 4th year of rescue comes to an end, we have so much to celebrate for, and so much to plan!

Who are we?

The Red Riding Hood Rescue Project is an animal-welfare focused nonprofit, who is dedicated to providing rescue, sanctuary, and lifetime support to wolfdogs in need, by improving their welfare and the quality of their lives. With a focus on cooperative care training and dedicated enrichment, we aim to educate and to encourage humane treatment and compassion of wolfdogs as our rescue's mission. The Red is still an ever-growing facility, from 2022 to now, we have 27 rescues already!

What are we planning?

After almost 4 years of foundational work, we are ready to continue striving for welfare enhancements and facility improvements.

Our all-volunteer staff and volunteer interns work tirelessly to enrich the lives of every wolfdog at our sanctuary. Daily animal care, enrichment, education, enclosure maintenance, event planning, and pack walks – all provided by our dedicated volunteers.
