Hi, my name is Bill Kunz and I am the President of the fundraising board for the new baseball program at Whitefish High School in Whitefish, Montana. For the first time, the state of Montana will allow high school baseball. There are about 40 high schools across the state that will be participating in the inaugural 2022/2023 school year. Whitefish High School hopes to be among them, but in order to get our kids on the field this spring, we need your help.
Our goal is to raise enough money to fund the Whitefish High School Baseball Program (Varsity and Junior Varsity teams) for its first season. The program will be completely self funded, meaning it will receive no funding from the school. Below is the preliminary budget for this spring season, so you know exactly where your money will be going.
Field Rental: $7,000
Equipment: $5,000
Uniforms: $3,000
Umpires: $3,000
Home Game Expenses: $2,000
Bus Transportation: $7,500
Player Meals: $10,000
Lodging: $10,000
Hiring Coaches: $10,000
Total: $57,500 for the inaugural 2022/2023 season.
The Whitefish High School Baseball fundraising board is thankful for any size donation. We can use all of the help we can get. The baseball program will be given a trophy case in the high school and in it will be a plaque with the names of anyone donating $500 or more to help get the inaugural season off the ground.
Thank you so much and if all goes well, we will see Whitefish High School kids on the baseball field this spring season and for many spring seasons to come.
