New Weather Station for Little Bear Creek Weather

I am hoping to raise money to purchase a new weather station for my location. I currently use a La Crosse station that has not fared well over the last year, and it is not accurately reporting any longer. Having a station that reports accurately helps in providing accurate forecasts by giving current data and observations for the local area. 

I am a part time working mom on a very tight budget, with a husband who supports my crazy passion for weather. My page is 100% done on volunteer time, I am not compensated in any way for the work that I do. I choose to, because I very much enjoy the weather and it gives me a chance to do what I love.  I was very hesitant to post a fundraiser for a station, because this absolutely is not about the money for me, but having an accurately functioning weather station would be very helpful. Unfortunately our current budget does not allow for me to purchase one, as we have home repairs that take precedence as well as other family related bills from recent hardships. 

Any donations to this fundraiser would be beyond appreciated and I would be beyond grateful. Little Bear Creek Weather is entering into it's 6th year here in Woodinville, and I never dreamed of having so many amazing, supportive followers. Thank you for all the kind words you all share with me frequently. 

I intend to purchase a Davis Vantage Vue weather station kit if the money is successfully raised. The station retails for $309 on Amazon, plus shipping and taxes.
