New Van for Evie's Adventures and Care

Help us get new wheels for Evie!

Evelynn (Evie) is a sweet, music-loving, outdoors fanatic, almost-7-year-old! She loves to laugh (especially at pig noises), listen to stories, go to school, and jam to her favorite tunes. She loves spending time outdoors and with the help of her parents and My Team Triumph, has already competed in several half marathons and triathlons!

She lives with Cerebral Palsy, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, Cortical Visual Impairment with astigmatism, and seizures. As you can imagine, there are a lot of challenges accompanying each of these diagnoses. Her nutrition is delivered via G-tube as she is unable to swallow and silently aspirates (the feeding process takes two or more hours per meal). She is consistently working on her gross motor skills in therapy but is unable to walk or crawl on her own.

She has outgrown her current wheelchair but fortunately, insurance is covering the cost of a new one. However, this wheelchair can't fit in her family's vehicle (nor can it be converted). Evie desperately needs a new van that can be converted to accommodate her wheelchair (something that isn't covered by insurance).

Both her parents are incredible, hardworking people, but the expenses associated with disability aids are high and they simply don't have the necessary funds, even though they've been saving as much as they can for years.

We want to make sure Evie can continue going on adventures, make it to all her doctor appointments, attend therapy sessions, and live life to the fullest!

This new van will allow Evie to travel more safely and comfortably. The newly outfitted van will have also room for her stander and medical equipment, which opens up the possibility of visiting extended family and taking road trips in the years to come.

Would you donate (any amount helps!) and spread the word (to everyone you can think of!) so we can help her family meet the following expenses?

Van: Price ranges from $45,000-$60,000
Conversion amount: $22,000 - $25,000 for a manual ramp - Medicaid will cover up to $15,000. The difference ($7,000 - $10,000) will be owed upfront at the time of pick-up.
Registration Fees: Around $400
Handicap License Plate Fee: $10

***Any extra funds that come in will go into Evie's savings account. This is FOR Evie and ONLY Evie.
