Help us Celebrate 100 Years of Tradition with New Uniforms for the Central High School Kiltie Drum & Bugle Corps!

Welcome to our GoFundMe campaign for the Central High School Kiltie Drum & Bugle Corps! We are the oldest, all-female, uniformed Scottish Drum & Bugle Corps in the United States, established in 1926 by the esteemed R. Ritchie Robertson. As we approach our 100th anniversary, which will take place during the 2025-2026 academic year, we are reaching out to our community for help.

THE NEED:
Over the past 20-25 years, our beloved drum and bugle corps has not received new kilts. In fact, all of our uniforms are in dire need of repair and replacement. The cost to replace an entire uniform is $1850 with the individual uniform pieces ranging from $40 to $500. We currently have 40 dedicated members who proudly represent our school, and we want to ensure they have proper and well-maintained uniforms.

OUR GOAL:
For our 100th anniversary, our fundraising goal is to raise $100,000. This will allow us to replace all of our uniforms in time for this momentous occasion. Any additional funds raised will be used to seed a Repair Fund for the future, ensuring that the Kiltie Drum & Bugle Corps can continue to proudly represent Central High School. **Please note on your donation to the Foundation that the funds are to be designated for the Kilties.**

ABOUT THE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL KILTIE DRUM & BUGLE CORPS
The Central High School Kiltie Drum & Bugle Corps is the nation’s oldest, uniformed, all-female, Scottish drum & bugle corps. We have performed for presidents & royalty in events ranging from the Orange Bowl Parade, to the Presidential Inaugural Parade, and the London New Year’s Day Parade. In 1974 the Governor of Missouri even proclaimed May 3rd as “Central High School Kiltie Drum Corps Recognition Day”.

Our corps is a year-round commitment. We practice for hours every week, both during the school year and in the summer. We also travel to performances all over the country.
Being a Kiltie is more than just marching in a band. It's a lifelong commitment to excellence. We teach our members discipline, teamwork, and leadership. We also instill in them a strong sense of community service.

We are proud to be a part of the Central High School community. We are grateful for the support of our parents, our teachers, and our community. We are also grateful for the opportunity to represent our school and our city.

Thank you for your support!
