New Tripod Life for Ash
Donation protected

The last few months have been the hardest of our lives. With a sick pup, a newborn baby and no means to get treatment for Ash— we have felt stuck. Spending $3000 prior to the baby being born trying to diagnose Ash and still we were left with no answers. He has been limping since April now and we’ve gotten everything from an infection, cancer, soft tissue injury— literally nobody could tell us what was going on. His most recent xrays show that his hind leg below the knee has completely deteriorated and he is hurting. In the last month or 2 he has lost 15-20 pounds and as my worries grew, I couldn’t sit and watch it go on any longer. Here I sit at the vet— after spending another $1000 and they are finally saying that amputation will be his best option. I hate to ask but this is my only hope to keep my sweet boy here with our new family.
Ash is my first baby. I got him at 5 weeks old and he has been by my side ever since. The most loving boy I’ve ever met. Please help me keep him here
edit UPDATE: they found 2 large, abnormal lymph nodes in his abdomen. It could be cancer or it could be severe infection of the bone which is causing the lymph nodes to swell. We are getting a biopsy done of his leg to see what is going on. I don’t know why this hasn’t been recommended sooner. Ash is doing great eating and going to the bathroom like a trooper. A true warrior
