New Transmission for My Broken Car

Hey all. Ross here. I've tried really hard to never have to do one of these before, and through good luck and tough effort I've managed to do so. But just after I got done paying for Christmas time my car starts acting funny. First the overheat light comes on, but I have plenty of antifreeze in it. Then it has trouble kicking into gear, and then I know where the problem lies. Transmission is dying, and it's gonna be 20% of the cost I paid for my car originally to fix it. I'm 2 years into payments for the car, so getting a new one is out of the question. I'm just looking for any help that others can give that doesn't inconvenience them- don't give what you need for me. But if we've ever had a good time in the past, or you're one of the few people who see me during pandemic times, or you stumble across this fundraiser from the wider web beyond my sphere, any help is welcome. If I want my car mobile I need to raise funds fast. Thank you in advance. I'm making this fundraiser before I hear the estimate from the garage, and will update the goal when I get that phone call later today.

P.S. Anyone who donates $15 and lives within reasonable driving distance of me can show up at my house and receive a bottle of homemade peach or strawberry wine. Limited to the first 15 or so kind and generous souls aged 21 years or older. That's the last of my homebrew stuff in my basement till next season.
