Hi family and friends. For those of you who that do not know, Nick has a genetic condition called Amelogenesis Imperfecta. This means that he has no enamel on his teeth and they are very sensitive to temperature compared to the average person. This condition can also cause pain due to no enamel protecting the teeth. We knew that at some point we would need to get his teeth crowned to save his teeth and make everyday life be easier. What we weren’t aware of was what the cost of the multiple surgeries and procedures would come out to be. A full mouth reconstruction would come out to roughly costing us $25,000. Last year, we got engaged and are currently trying to save for a wedding in 2021 on top of saving for this extensive procedure.
Due to the over all cost and the need to have the procedures done with in a roughly 1 year timeline, the insurance is not even going to cover a fraction of the total cost. This causes a huge stress in the timespan of which we can save before surgeries and procedures start.
We would greatly appreciate the help with covering some of the costs, so that we can start our married life with less of a money burden.
