My sister Emily is at an end of her long, hard fight with severe periodontal disease. After years of excruciating procedures, nothing has worked and the specialists have told her that she must now have ALL of her teeth removed. They have also indicated that dentures will not stop the infection, and the bone will continue to deteriorate. Emily's only hope of a quality of life concerning her teeth is an urgent surgery which will give her dental implants. This surgery will save her bone, and allow her to eat, taste, and talk normally again. It is not covered by insurance, and must be performed quickly before any more of her bone deteriorates.
Emily has spent her life not only as a hard worker and meticulous saver, but as the most giving and caring individual that you will ever meet. When her job closed because of the pandemic, she immediately found another place to serve. Many have been blessed by her spontaneous generosity. She is passionate in her love for the elderly. She regularly cooks or bakes food for people who need it. She makes cookies for the mall Santa every year. Her smile was bright and contagious, until she couldn't smile anymore. 
Emily's procedure will be at least $60,000. She and her family will be contributing all that we can, but we are asking for help so that she can enjoy her new life with her new teeth, and not be drowning in medical debt.
