Our lease was to renew, and we can't afford it. I lost my job in March while out awaiting surgery to remove my gallbladder. It was the next move due to increasing frequency of gastrointestinal issues causing a lot of missed work. We completed many other tests, work up and the surgeon agrees with the Gastro this would be a good next move. This is only one medical issue amongst other medical issues. We had hopes this would start to eliminate the frequency and get my life back.

Not only did I lose my job in March, but I also lost insurance the day I was terminated. I was the breadwinner.

I have several autoimmune issues, starting with Guillain-Barré in 1996. I have complete sensory peripheral neuropathy in both feet, tarsal tunnel syndrome in both feet, osteoarthritis in my ankles, knees, thumbs, and hips, and have not been able to keep the necessary doctor's appointments for these issues. Injections every three months for the arthritis and bursitis.

I have ocular migraines, ADD, and am not taking those meds either.

I also have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and have not been able to see my endocrinologist. I am not sure where my numbers are and will be out of meds soon. Working to try and find as many herbal remedies as I can.

All this came at a bad time, and though I have had some great interviews, I have not retained full-time work and in the midst of this, filed for disability. Having experienced a lot of missed time due to all these issues, and it getting worse every year. The added stress exacerbating the issues, eventually took its toll. The review for disability will take time.

We have an opportunity to move to a new place, as we were approved with a deposit, even with our credit being shot.

My unemployment is exhausted. I did take on a gig job but only for a few hours a day.

We are having to put a deposit down for the new electric. We will forgo WiFi; it is not a necessity.

We are behind on the utilities here in VA. We need to get those caught up.

We have to rent the truck, pay the deposit for the place and the electric, and have sold as much as we could out of our apartment, to just live.

We even surrendered our second vehicle because we can't even afford the one we are now sharing.

My tags need to be renewed, but I cannot renew those till the property taxes are paid, so it just keeps stacking up.

My other half works the max hours he can with his retirement income. We just need a little help to get to the next place.

We just want to make a new start.

Any help would be huge to us!

I waited to post anything in hopes I would not need to. Our move-in date is September 29th. Days away. We are in a tough monetary spot.
