Hi everyone! It's been a long long time since I recorded a whole bunch of new worship songs! But I'm excited to tell you that I'm still writing and still leading worship all over the place.

I left the 'industry' and my songwriting contract back in 2009 for a whole lot of good reasons but the focus has never been more fixed on worship and ministering to the Lord than it is now.

It feels very much like the time is right and the songs are right but I'm not making another big 'studio album'. This will be a raw, live, authentic, hearts on fire for Jesus, gathering with 25-30 friends, unto Him, packed into living rooms and other relatively small spaces and pouring out our hearts to Him.

The plan is to record some more simple but powerful songs that will resource the wider church but this time being more conscious of many smaller settings, home groups, house churches, smaller gatherings and churches that are not blessed with loads of musicians, production skills, tech skills and equipment etc. However, I do believe that these songs will also translate easily to full arrangements for larger settings and still be a great blessing in bigger churches too.

I am no longer backed by a record label nor a publishing deal so this will be a 'funded by faith' project. At the same time, I desire to properly honour all those whose time and skills and expertise are needed to make this happen. We will still need to source, production skills, engineers, musicians, venues, equipment, studio time to edit and mix the tracks, as well as artwork, design, a whole stack of admin and legal copyright protection stuff etc etc.. the list goes on. Hence this GoFundMe page!

We are already well into arranging the songs and have already run some sessions to teach the songs and had our first gathering with live microphones in the room.

Once finished these recordings will go out on all the current online platforms like Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, YouTube etc etc.

I am genuinely more excited about some of these songs than a whole lot of other songs I've previously written - and that's saying something! Plus I have had many people encouraging me over the years with words like "your best is yet to come"!
