I’m saving for a new pair of skates! I bought my crazy derby boots in a sale during lockdown with the cheapest non-plastic plates I could find. As a rookie having never tried them on before buying, I was still surprised they didn’t fit properly?! They have served me for four years (as long as the laces are tied superglue tight and I have thick socks on) and two 5 Nations seasons with Cambridge Rollerbillies. It’s time for a well needed upgrade though.
